Earlier today, I tried to read an article by the German online newspaper Der Spiegel. Funniest thing happened. As I opened the article, an invitation to a questionnaire poped up: “Your Opinion is wanted”
The only problem was: the acknowledge button is hidden behind an ad. See a screenshot here:
I have a hunch that this market research initiative might not be quite as successful as originally envisaged…
